5k & 10k – 9.30am
Kids Run – 11.30am

Race Numbers

All race packs are to be collected from the event village next to the car park at the bottom of the hill on the morning of the event!

To collect your race pack, you need to make your way to the race pack collection between 7:00-8:45am (5k & 10k), 9.00-10.00am (Kids run). It will take around 5 minutes to collect number and then around 15 minutes to hike up to the event village to drop your bag off and get ready for the race!

You will only need one number attached to the front of your shirt. If you have your own pins then that would be great, but we will have supplies if needed.

Your timing chip will also be in the envelope, this needs to be attached to your shoe as per the instructions on the back of the chip, as below:

Please make sure you keep your number and chip on at all times during the race. At the finish you can dispose of your chip (we do not need to collect them back).

When you receive your race pack, please take a couple of minutes to fill out the brief Runner Information form which can be found printed on the back of your bib. This will help us greatly in case of an emergency, and there are pens available at the registration desks.

We will have a secure area where you can leave your baggage next to the start/finish line. We have tear off baggage labels at the bottom of your race number that can be attached to your bag. To collect, all you have to do is hand over your number to the baggage tent staff and they will help you find your belongings.

There will be a water station at the 2.5k point (and then again at the 7.5km of the race for the 10k) as well as at the finish line along side your medal, limited edition finishers t-shirt and other finish line goodies!

Indie Bay Snacks will be supplying post race treats for all runners so don’t forget to grab a bag at the finish line. Indie Bay Snacks have taken all the best bits of a pretzel and made their own perfect bites of deliciousness. They’re crunchy, moreish and, of course, round. To find out more, find us at indiebaysnacks.com

There will be toilets available at the top of the hill next to the start and finish line.

Before the race

There will be a warm up at the top of the hill next to the start line by Auro Fit to make sure you are all warmed up and ready for the run ahead. Auro is the official training partner for the Beat Boxhill event!

Auro gives you on-demand training and curated plans from the UK’s best running coaches. Their audio fitness classes provide you with a personal running coach in your ear, guiding and motivating you through every step. Each class is synced with music you know and love.

During the race

The entire course will follow the famous Zig Zag Road. We will have 3 timing points within this race. A downhill 1 mile, sure to be the fastest mile you will ever run, followed by an uphill mile which may just be your slowest mile and then your overall 5k finish time. The 10k runners will be tackling this twice.

Each KM will be accurately marked out and we have plenty of helpers to encourage you on your way up to the finish.

There are multiple points along the Zig Zag Road to watch the runners and cheer friends and family on during their races!

There will be hot food and drink available within the event village along with stands from Trekhire UK, Auro fit, Prime Sports Therapy and Kurbside Kitchen.

After the race

You will be able to grab your well earned medal and limited edition Beat Box Hill T-shirt at the finish line along side post race goodies including delicious protein from organic grass fed cows milk from The Organic Protein Company.

Results will be available on www.beatboxhill.com after the race.

We will have a photographer taking a few snaps of the race and they will be on Facebook after the race so be sure to check it out and see if you can spot yourself.
